Developed for the tough races of the world elite in the cross-country marathon, the Black Adder is a race hardtail for maximum off-road performance. The carbon frame has been slightly redesigned for the new model year for use on the Transalp & Co. The result of the fine-tuning: even more agility on the trail, the best possible control on the descent and a frame weight of just 900 grams (size M). The top tube has been slightly extended, the chainstays shortened and the head tube angle slightly flattened. Thanks to the Endurance Lite Concept, the frame combines stiffness in the drive and steering areas with full comfort and maximum performance for long race stages thanks to a special carbon fibre lay-up.
